Rebecca Lord-Surratt is a Brooklyn based Set Designer working in television, theater, and live events. As a designer she is rooted in a collaborative process and exploration of storytelling through space and materials. 
With a variety of experience across the industry, she has worked as an Art Director in episodic television with networks such as Showtime and Apple TV, and on televised live performance with MTV, CMT, and NBC among others. 
As a Theatrical Set Designer, she has worked with theaters such as 59e59, Northern Stage, Soho Playhouse, South Orange Performing Arts Center, Ensemble Studio Theater, and as an Associate Designer at Lincoln Center Theater, BAM Fisher, Chicago Shakespeare, The Old Globe, Hartford Stage, Two River Theater, Second Stage, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and New York Theater Workshop among others.  
Experiential Design projects have included work with Viacom, MTV, Nickelodeon, and obé fitness. 
She has taught at the Department of Design for Stage and Film at NYU, and is a member of USA 829 and the collective Coördinated Artists
